MA Anthropology Program (MA Course Introduced in 2020) The MA Anthropology Program was introduced in 2020 at Institute of Kashmir Studies, University of Kashmir. The program is currently in its 3rd Year, and 2 batches (2020 and 2021) have completed their PG Programs. Currently, 2 batches are in session (2022 and 2023). The course is fieldwork intensive (24 credits spread over 4 semesters), and the students have to write a dissertation in fourth semester based on thier fieldwork.

Course Duration:The MA programme is organised into two-year duration comprising of four semesters.
Course Eligibility:Bachelors degree under 10+2+3 pattern with at least 45% marks for open category and 40% marks for reserved category in any discipline of this University or any other University whose examinations are recognized as equivalent thereto. Bachelors degree in any stream equivalent to the corresponding Indian degree system. Candidates from SAARC countries will be eligible for the course Fee Structure/Scholarships
